Quality of Performance and Performance Risk Evaluation for Agile Software using Fuzzy Inference System

Abstract


 In modern generations, various software development companies are using agile methodologies like extreme programming, scrum, lean, feature driven development, dynamic system development etc. rather than traditional software development methods.  Agile expert’s claim that they had fewer amount of failure of projects as well as software product quality has been greatly improved as compared to traditional development. Heavy weight methodologies had various quality assurance practices but these techniques were more concerned with towards heavy reporting and these techniques had a large number of inspection methods whereas agile methodologies are known for their built in quality assurance activities and management system. Many organizations are shifting towards agile software development techniques as compare to heavy weight practices. But in this scenario, still there are issues related with the quality. In this research some quality of agile software performance Indicators identified and evaluated through MATLAB simulators. Through the literature review some rule base is created and it is shown by the MATLAB simulators, how these qualities of performance indicators affect the software performance quality.
